Catch up after a rough report
Import a school report into Academic Tracker, pick one subject below target, and start a RoxWhy catch-up plan the student can keep.
A rough report is information. The useful move is to pick one subject and one next action, not to redesign the whole timetable in a panic.
You will know it worked when one weak subject is named, the last unit's notes are in a knowledge base, and the student has a first practice session this week.
Academic Tracker and Study Planner need a Scholar plan. On Starter, skip the import and start at step 3 with Chat and a knowledge base.
1. Import the report, then check it
Open Academic Tracker.
Use Import your school report with a PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP, or DOCX. Review every extracted grade before saving. Edit subject names, scores, and the term if the import guessed wrong. Duplicates are skipped; conflicts default to keeping what you already entered.
You can undo an import after saving. Undo does not refund the AI tokens used to read the file.
If you would rather type, add the term, subjects, and a few recent results by hand. You only need enough to see which subject is behind.

2. Choose one subject, not the whole report
Look at the subject furthest below its target, or the one the student has a test in next.
Write a catch-up goal in one sentence: "Bring Year 8 maths topic [name] back to a pass on the next quiz" is better than "fix all subjects."
Open Study Planner and generate a plan from that goal with a time commitment the household can keep. Two or three sessions a week beat a heroic daily plan that dies on Wednesday.
3. Attach the class material and start small
Create a knowledge base named for that subject. Upload the last unit's notes and the assessment the mark came from, if allowed.
Then do the first planner task in Chat or Learning Pack:
Use my
[knowledge base]. The last assessment was weak on [topic]. Explain the idea I am missing in plain language, then give me five questions at that assessment's difficulty. Wait for my answers.
Save misses. Those misses become the next session.
If the student needs continuity rather than a burst of chats, switch to First week with Roxy Tutor with the same narrow goal.
4. Use Command Centre so you do not renegotiate every afternoon
Once the tracker and planner have data, open Study Command Centre.
Do the top action: an overdue task, today's task, a tracker focus, or a review. Close the laptop when that action is done.
Parents: the weekly check is "what did you complete, and what is still below target?" not a replay of the report conversation.
