Privacy and Data
RoxWhy processes account information, uploaded learning material, AI workflow content, billing records, and support messages to provide the learning workspace.

Uploaded documents
Uploaded documents may be stored so RoxWhy can retrieve context for tutoring, writing, quizzes, research, RoxBots, and knowledge-base workflows.
Only upload material you have the right to use with RoxWhy. For sensitive material, remove unnecessary personal information where practical.
Avoid uploading:
- Passwords.
- Full card numbers.
- Identity documents.
- Medical records.
- Other students' private work.
- Documents your school or organisation does not allow you to process with AI.
AI processing
RoxWhy uses AI-powered learning workflows and AI providers to answer questions, retrieve context, generate study material, support writing, create quizzes, create visual explanations, and run RoxBots.
Prompts, messages, retrieved source excerpts, uploaded document text, and related workspace context may be processed when needed to provide those features.
Parent and student accounts
Parents should decide which email owns the account. Billing records, support identity checks, token balances, and workspace access are tied to that account email.
Students should not share passwords, payment details, or private personal information inside prompts.
Billing data
Stripe handles payment details for subscriptions and purchases. RoxWhy stores billing references needed to manage plans, credits, support, and account state.
Do not send full card numbers or bank login details through support.
Support requests
Support messages may include account context, billing context, learning workflow details, or issue reports. Include only the details needed to reproduce the issue.
If a document is involved, describe the file type, subject, and knowledge base first. Do not send private documents unless support asks for a narrowed example.
Deletion and privacy requests
For privacy, export, or deletion requests, contact support from the account email where possible.
