Account & Subscription Management
As a Solo User of RoxWhy, you have complete control over your account settings, profile information, and subscription details. This guide will walk you through the various account management features available in the Solo User Portal.
Creating Your Account
To get started with RoxWhy as a Solo User:
1. Visit the RoxWhy website and click "Sign Up" 2. Select the "Solo User" option 3. Enter your email address and create a password 4. Complete your profile with your name and other required information 5. Choose your subscription plan (Standard or Plus) 6. Enter your payment details 7. Click "Complete Sign Up"Once your account is created, you'll have immediate access to the RoxWhy platform based on your chosen subscription plan.
Logging In
To access your Solo User Portal:
1. Navigate to the RoxWhy login page 2. Enter your email address and password 3. Click the Log In button If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. RoxWhy will email you a reset link so you can choose a new password securely.Updating Profile Details
In the Solo User Portal Settings, you can update your personal information: 1. Navigate to Account Settings in the sidebar menu 2. Locate the profile information section 3. Edit your name fields and other details as needed 4. Click Save ChangesA success message will confirm that your profile has been updated.
Managing Your Subscription
As a Solo User, you have direct control over your subscription plan and billing details.
Viewing Your Current Plan
1. Navigate to the Billing section in the sidebar menu 2. View your current subscription status, plan type, and next billing dateChanging Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time:
1. Navigate to the Billing section in the sidebar menu 2. Click "Change Plan" 3. Select your desired plan (Standard or Plus) 4. Confirm the changeUpgrading from Standard to Plus will give you immediate access to additional features like the AI Notebook and Academic Tracker. The price difference will be prorated and charged immediately.
Downgrading from Plus to Standard will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Updating Payment Information
To update your payment method:
1. Navigate to the Billing section in the sidebar menu 2. Click "Update Payment Method" 3. Enter your new payment details 4. Click "Save"Viewing Billing History
You can view your past invoices and payment history:
1. Navigate to the Billing section in the sidebar menu 2. Scroll down to the "Billing History" section 3. View a list of past invoices, including dates and amounts 4. Click on any invoice to view or download the detailed receiptCanceling Your Subscription
If you need to cancel your subscription:
1. Navigate to the Billing section in the sidebar menu 2. Click "Cancel Subscription" 3. Confirm the cancellation when promptedYour subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, after which you'll lose access to the platform's features. Your account data will be retained for a period of time, so you can easily reactivate your subscription if you change your mind.
Resetting Your Password
If at any point you want to change your password:
1. Navigate to Account Settings in the sidebar menuAlternatively, if you've forgotten your password and can't log in:
1. Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page 2. Enter your email address 3. Check your inbox for a reset link 4. Follow the instructions to set a new password
